Although we had over 200 people playing the game, I'm a bit disappointed because . . .
we only received ONE quilt to donate to charity.
So Melissa, who made her quilt for something to do while recovering from cancer treatments, got a big prize package for playing the game and donating her quilt. The folks at the Ronald McDonald House were impressed with it and really glad to receive it.
A HUGE thank you goes out to Melissa. We also donated the original Thirty and Found sample quilt to them, for a total of two quilts donated to charity, so although we had hoped to have more to give them, two is better than zero!
The folks at the Ronald McDonald House are going to find good homes for the quilts, and we hope to donate more to them in the future, especially as their new house will begin being built next year, and they'll be able to serve even more families in need.
