I don't know about your area, but we've been having some really warm weather around here, considering that it's winter. Personally, I'm hoping winter never gets any worse than it is right now! We'll see what Punxatawney Phil has to say today . . .

I tried to update yesterday, it being the first of the month and all, but my computer had other ideas, so today is the day.

I've put a new recipe in The Prairie Moon Ranch Cookbook. For Super Bowl Sunday, I'm making Pete's Stuffed Jalapenos and taking them to my sister's. There are a couple other recipes that would work for Super Bowl food in there, too, so have a look around. Come to think of it, I might make some Cheese Bites, too!

I have two new patterns out since the last time I updated here. They were already announced on the blog, but if you didn't catch them there, I've put more about them to the right.

I've got a couple more new patterns coming out this month, too, so stay tuned. There will be giveaways involved!

You still have until February 15th to send us a quilt for the Wild West Scavenger Hunt and get in on the prizes. The game has ended, but you can find the wrap-up information HERE.

Oh, and if you're interested, I've begun a 350 Blocks Project on my blog. I'm planning on making 350 quilt blocks this year. You can join me if you like. Click HERE to find out more and to see what we've done so far.

Block 2 of the "Bouquets for Hazel" Quilt-Along has been posted, and there are several tutorials on hand applique over on the Hazel's Diary blog as well. (I'm still working on catching up on the diary entries I was behind on.)

I think that's all my news for now. Keep checking back!

The Wild West Scavenger Hunt is still up and going. Be sure to check it out . . . it's not too late to get in on it and win some prizes.

Until next time . . . I've got lots of work to do!

As always, you can check with your Local Quilt Shop to see if they carry my patterns, and if not, just ask them to order for you -- it'll save you the shipping, since I ship all my wholesale orders free.

Keep an eye on the blog for more up-to-date news, and keep checking back in with us often!

The game has ended, but you still have time to send in your quilt and be eligible for prizes. Click HERE to find out how . . .

Just in time for Valentine's Day, you can whip up this little 20" x 20" banner for your sweetie. It makes a darling wall hanging as it is, or you can leave off the borders and make it into a 14" pillow instead.

The pattern comes with the full-sized applique design and complete instructions, and is available either as a printed version you can receive in the mail, or as a PDF version that you can get emailed to you, so there's no wait and no shipping fee.

You can read more about it, and purchase the pattern here in my shop.

A great scrap quilt pattern. Choose from any of 5 different sizes, depending on how many of those scraps you'd like to use up!

This pattern teaches an easy, no-waste method for making Flying Geese units that you can apply to any other quilt as well.

In addition, the pattern is available either as a printed version that you can receive in the mail, or as a PDF that gets emailed to you so there's no wait and no shipping fee.

You can read more about it, and purchase the pattern here in my shop.

"Lil Cowpokes" has a girl version, a boy version, and an alternate version with no applique. Any of the three versions can be made in 2 different sizes.
