August Studio Organizing
Ready for the next challenge?
It’s time once again for a Studio Organizing Challenge.
I worked hard on the last one, off and on, but how it ended up is . . .
I tackled all sorts of piles, but never managed to get rid of even one complete pile; but a lot of the piles are not nearly as tall as they once were, so I’m not giving up. When you try to work your way through a pile, rather than just relocate everything, it takes a lot longer to get through it!
Since I don’t have space to relocate everything, working through them seems like the best option for me for now. I’m still trying. (And evidently will be for quite a while yet!)
I had a little help, but it just wasn’t enough:
But onward we go . . .
Another thing I’ve been trying to do, and not succeeding at, is our challenge this time:
Clean off your main work surface
I’ve been trying to clean off my cutting table for weeks, and as of right now, it looks better than it has in quite a while, but . . . that’s not good enough. I need to just concentrate on it, so that’s the purpose of this challenge.
Here’s a before photo for reference. We’ll see what I can accomplish.
How about you? Is your main work surface a catch-all like mine?
Do you have too many projects piled on it?
Do you even know what’s there? (I’m sure I’ll find some surprises.)
It always feels so good to have it clean, too, so I’m really motivated to do this. I hope you’ll join me. (Misery does indeed love company.)

Well I've been bad about posting but I do not have a studio right now to work out of
My mother passed away in February and we've been cleaning out her house and I had to pack all my stuff up so it's all in the storage
But next month I'll be able to start putting it all back out and hopefully be back organized by November
