I am ashamed to say I have more than one pile - too many! My worst procrastination pile is where the backing wasn't big enough and I'm having to add bits, one is extra blocks, but not too bad. The other is your lovely pattern that I enlarged for husband - I had enough backing for the original size but it is just not wide enough now, so I'm in a meh moment. Big Bertha Amara stopped working, but a lady at our quilt group suggested it wasn't playing nicely because she wasn't warm enough - she had the same problem. Finally it worked! No excuses for finishing the quilt in waiting - it isn't very big, a small lap sized one that a lady made but sadly passed on. I'm quilting it and another lady will bind it for the quilter's husband. Then so much outside - need to sort the hay out! Husband is making a pump house for our new borehole filter and pump, I get called away from my chores to help. Today he was impatient, I was visiting mum (now a weekly long drive to see her, and as she wasn't herself - dementia - it got a bit unpleasant so I ended the trip earlier - just as well) a heavy roof panel slipped onto his leg and I came home to find blood everywhere! Had I not seen him first (and heard the confession) I would have panicked! He had patched himself up but the carpet is done for! And the damage - a tiny split on his shin, but because he had a stent put in 9 years ago, he has blood thinners. Honestly, I can't leave him alone for one second!!!
